Hi, I'm Anchella.

There's something I think more people in finance should be honest about. I once owed the IRS thousands of dollars. And I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
From 2021 to 2023, I ran an online dropshipping business. The store was doing well. I was working hard and felt good about what I was building. But behind the scenes, I had no real system. I wasn't tracking income properly. I wasn't logging expenses. I didn't know self-employed people are supposed to pay taxes quarterly. I didn't even know self-employment tax was a separate thing.

When tax time came, the bill was much bigger than I expected. Penalties, interest, the whole thing. What stung most was knowing almost all of it could have been avoided if I'd just kept up with the basics.
What changed
That experience pushed me to finally use what I'd learned in school. I got certified as a professional bookkeeper. I earned my QuickBooks Online Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, then completed the Intuit Bookkeeping certification. Now I work with freelancers, 1099 contractors, small business owners, and self-employed people who don't want to be caught off guard the way I was. My clients know what they owe, when it's due, and what they can deduct. No surprises at tax time.
What I do
I keep books for cleaning businesses, truck drivers, independent contractors, and other small service-based businesses. Most of my clients work with me month to month. I handle the categorizing, the reconciling, and the monthly reports so they always know where they stand.
I'm not a firm. It's just me. That means when you reach out, you get me, not a junior assistant or a ticket number. It also means I only take on as many clients as I can serve well.
How I work
Everything is remote. We connect securely, I get access to what I need, and I do the work in the background. You'll get clear monthly reports and you can ask me anything you don't understand. No question is too small. Most things in bookkeeping sound more complicated than they actually are.
I try to be the kind of bookkeeper I'd want if I were running a small business: organized, easy to reach, honest about what I see in the numbers, and consistent month after month.
